The Lase platform derives from the experience gained by Laservall in the production of high performance and high quality DPSS lasers.

The platform is characterized by the continuous and precise electronic control on board for monitoring, setting and diagnostic of all key parameters of the laser system (Diode current and temperature; Shutter status; Environment temperature; Peltier current; Power consumption; Output power; All parameters for configuration and command of the laser) in a compact, standard 19” rack. The temperature control is implemented with a “Dual Control System” for both heating and cooling, the pump diode is therefore rapidly set to and maintained at the right temperature, leading to increased performance and reliability of the laser system. Laservall’s Lase platform extends drastically the possibility of connection between the laser source and the operative system dramatically. The communication with the system is enabled by RS232, RS485, and Ethernet. And still the Lase platform enforces the Safety control by the presence of a mechanical shutter and an on-board power meter.

Advanced Control, Monitoring and Diagnostics.

ources continue in the V-Lase Family. The V-Lase is a End Pumped DPSS air-cooled laser source that operates on the Lase platform.

The laser source is characterized by autodiagnostic and diagnostic control and by safety and power control through the Beam Shutter and Power Meter on board. A dedicated software enables the constant monitoring of all key laser parameters (Diode current and temperature; Shutter status; Environment temperature; Peltier current; Power consumption; Output power; All parameters for configuration and command of the laser). It guarantees the stability and efficiency of the product. This constant control leads to decreased downtimes and increased life of the laser source and its components. It checks the safety parameters of the laser established. The operator defines the laser parameters which can be reported on demand. The Beam Shutter utilizes an electro-mechanical actuator to provide fast shutter close where a laser tight safety lockout is required. The “Power Mode Control” function controls the power output from the source and enables its parameters to be adjusted as required. Characteristics of the V-Lase are an excellent beam quality, high peak power, short pulse width. The beam characteristics of the V-Lase permit material interaction effects such as vaporization, surface marking, removal of coatings as well as alteration of the molecular structure of a material area without affecting the material as a whole. Whatever the case may be, the result is always a visible and high contrast marking. The laser source is available in the OEM and OEM Marker versions. The “Marker” version is supplied with marking kit (the Scanner Head, the Laservall’s userfriendly software and DSP Card) for the control of laser and Scanner Head. An industrial optical fiber connects the sealed diode pumped module to the laser resonator.

High stability for micromachining applications

Laservall adds products and features to the Green family of its Diode Pumped Solid-State laser sources (DPSS).

The source operates in a Q-Switch regime in single-transverse mode (TEM00) and is air-cooled. The Green-Lase designed by Laservall is distinguished by its high pulse-to-pulse stability and spatial resolution. The laser is based on the mechanic optical architecture of Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) Intracavity technology.

The Green-Lase laser source operates on the Lase platform. The consolidated experience of Laservall gained in the production of high quality and high reliability DPSS lasers and thanks to the development of the intracavity technology the Green solution ensures high performance even in the most demanding application conditions. These specifications, combined with the efficiency and stability of the Green-Lase, ensure the following advantages:

• High efficiency at 532 nm in a broad Q-switch Frequency range

• Excellent focused laser spot as a result of the excellent Beam Quality

• Uniform processing generated by the Pulse-to-Pulse Energy Stability

• Optimal roundness of the outgoing laser beam

Green-Lase can be easily integrated in production line for the automotive industries and solar cell scribing, LCD Scribing and Semiconductor wafer dicing.

The laser source is available in the OEM and OEM Marker for different industrial applications: process of plastics, changing surface colour for legible marks without burning and ablation of thin films with no alteration of the substrate material.

Ulyxe is a marking laser that represents the simplest opportunity to enter the Laser Marking world without foregoing the required performance, such as precise, high contrast and quality marking. The Ulyxe product is a Nd:YVO4 –based DPSS Q-switched laser, manufactured in a simple, heavy duty and reliable design. Its nominal power is 6W at the wavelength of 1064nm.

Laservall has developed the product based on its experience in high-quality laser sources and has included all the key functions of a marking laser in a compact tool, with mechanical and electronic interfaces that are convenient, easy to install and start, and with a user-friendly software in both the programming and the operating modes.

The All-In-One laser source includes on board the Resonator Cavity and the Beam Expander, the Scanner Head and DSP – USB connection. The interaction and monitoring is easy through the LCD / TOUCH SCREEN display for the Real Time Monitoring of the Diode Current and Temperature and the value of Converter Current and Temperature.

A simple 24V external power supply and any Personal Computer equipped with a USB connection is all that is needed to make it a complete laser marking system. Laservall's Ulyxe laser source meets thus the requirements of numerous professionals, manufacturers and workshops that need the technology of the laser to achieve the high quality necessary for their markings, while offering a high degree of efficiency and a user-friendly interface with the equipment.

Easy To Integrate

Laservall's Zeux is the compactness laser source for industrial environmental where small dimensions, easy installation and performances are essential. The Zeux is a 6W power Nd:YVO4 based DPSS Q-switched laser. Zeux keeps Ulyxe compactness advantages and “open” its design characteristics for an “easy integration” The laser source is characterized by a metal case for the industrial environmental. Thanks to DSP2 interface and I/O board, Zeux permits the full control on the marking applications as X,Y,Z and Theta axis. Through the remotable display all the parameters (Diode’s current and temperature, Converter’s current and temperature) are monitored in real time. The compactness laser source is easy to integrate into the systems (and with Resonator Cavity, Beam Expander) no needs of any external rack is easy to install and start.
